SOTM Winner:

I would like to say a massive well done to everyone at Ampney Crucis C of E Primary School for winning our February School of the Month Award for collecting 632 kilos and raising a fantastic £316.00 for Ampney Crusis C of E Primary School.

This month we have sent Ampney Crucis Primary a bottle top bird feeder kit, it’s a great way to be creative, fun for all ages and most importantly the birds will love it!

CFAC offer lots of different ways for your school to get more from your collection:

• School of the month

We offer a School of the Month award to the school that collects the most, or does something outstanding with their collection money. The winner receives an eco/fun prize for the children to enjoy.

• Recommend a Friend

Successfully recommend a friend and we will offer you 60p per kilo on your next collection.

• Loyalty Awards

If you book 3 collections in any calendar year and collect 500 kilos or more at each collection, CFAC will give you a £50.00 bonus on your 3^rd collection.

• Reach over 600 kilos

If you collect 600 kilos or more on each collection we will offer you 60p per kilo for all you have collected.

School of the Month and Fundraising Tips!



What a fantastic start to the year! We are pleased to see so many of you taking advantage of our brilliant new price and collection items.

Read on below for some tips on how to raise more from your collection with Clothes for a Cause!

Winner: Our Lady of the Rosary!!

Congratulations to all pupils and staff at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School in Bristol for collecting a whopping 620 kilos and raising £310.00 for their school.

CFAC visited Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School to congratulate them on being December’s school of the month and awarded them with a CFAC prize and certificate.

Bridget O’Donoghue is the mastermind behind making the schools CFAC collection’s so successful. Our Lady of the Rosary has set up a texting service to remind parents about the collection day. What a great idea to help them remember!

6 Simple Ideas to raise more money!

1.  Invite us to hold a CFAC assembly, recycling workshop or arrange to visit our factory to get the children thinking about recycling.

2.    Text Parents and Staff to remind them about the collection day to ensure they bring a bag in.

3.    Encourage parents to give books and raise extra funds- we pay 5p per kilo for books! (Don’t forget to bag them separately.)

4.    Speak with your local radio!

5.    Ask people of the community to donate their clothes and raise more money

6. Return unused bags and earn your school 2p per bag
